HOLLY V. KEGEL

FAMILY LAW LAWYER

Holly graduated law school from the University of Calgary in 2021 and was called to the bar in August 2022.

During law school, Holly dedicated her time to volunteering with Student Legal Assistance and Pro Bono Students Canada. She also successfully competed in numerous mooting, debating, and negotiation competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot. Most notably, Holly earned the 1st place individual award and the 3rd place team award at Western Canada Family Law Negotiation in 2021. As a Dean’s List student during law school and recipient of the Owen Saunders Prize in Public International Law, Holly has always strived for excellence in her academic performance.

Holly has advocated for her clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench, and alternative dispute resolution processes on matters including parenting, child support, and spousal support. Holly focuses on understanding her clients’ goals and equipping her clients with knowledge to make informed decisions.

Prior to law school, Holly earned her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario in 2016. In her spare time, Holly enjoys watercolour painting, attending dance and theatre performances, and spending time with her friends and family.
