ELIZABETH L. STEWART

Elizabeth was called to the Bar in 2011 and has practiced Family Law, exclusively, since 2012. She is an experienced litigator having successfully appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Court of Appeal.

Elizabeth has a JD in Law and a BSc in Agriculture and Biosciences from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to being a lawyer, Elizabeth spent a number of years working in genetics and agricultural bio-tech.

Since moving to Calgary, Elizabeth focuses her practice on helping clients through the often difficult and emotional challenges of family law—divorce, common-law separation, custody, access, spousal and child support, property division and pre-nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements. Elizabeth works closely with clients to facilitate cost-effective, collaborative and efficient solutions that fit their specific circumstances.

Elizabeth was drawn to the legal profession in order to advocate for people and solve their legal problems.

Personal Interests:
Elizabeth enjoys the adventure and diversity of travelling. She studied law in the Czech Republic, lived in Southern France and continues to explore many other areas of the world.
In her spare time Elizabeth loves reading, golfing, socializing and tennis.
