ZOYA K. YUSUF
Family Law Lawyer
Zoya was called to the bar in January 2022. Zoya earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Toronto, and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Leicester. Zoya has also completed her Masters at Osgoode Hall Law School in Canadian Common Law.
While at law school, Zoya dedicated her time volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada, Family Law Clinic, assisting self-represented litigants navigate their family law disputes.
Her passion for Family Law is driven by a desire to help people. She prides herself in her welcoming nature and is devoted to helping clients achieve their desired results during a challenging time in their lives. Zoya is committed to resolving legal issues efficiently and in a cost-effective manner, providing personalized legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Zoya has successfully appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench. She has also assisted clients reach a positive outcome through negotiations in settlement meetings and attending mediation-arbitrations.
Outside of work, Zoya can be found hiking in the Rocky Mountains, travelling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She is also fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
