GILLIAN CROUCHER

Associate

Gillian graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2013, on the Dean’s List, after obtaining a B.A. with distinction from McGill University in 2010. Gillian began her law career in civil litigation, but has practiced exclusively in family law since 2017.

Gillian’s practice is primarily concentrated on complex property division and support matters. She has extensive experience drafting separation, cohabitation, and prenuptial agreements. While it is not the focus of her practice, she also assists clients with parenting disputes.

Gillian understands that reaching an agreement outside of the court system is best for most families, and is focused on ensuring a resolution that is as amicable and efficient as possible. This allows clients to avoid the stress and expense that litigation involves. When matters cannot be settled through negotiation or mediation and settlement is not possible, Gillian is an experienced and capable litigator, and has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta and in arbitration.

Outside of the office, Gillian enjoys collecting records, cross-stitching and spending time with her partner and their two cats. She is an avid marathon runner, an equally avid reader and a terrible cook.
